시놀로지 포토 (Synology Photo) 마운트

시놀로지를 활용할 때 데이터를 보다 효율적으로 관리하기 위해, 특정 경로를 마운트하는 작업이 필요할 때가 있습니다.

마운트란, 다른 디렉토리의 경로를 현재 로컬 디렉토리에서 사용할 수 있게 해주는 것을 의미합니다.
이를 통해 여러 경로를 통합하거나, 특정 폴더에 다른 경로를 연결하여 효율성을 극대화할 수 있습니다.

이번 포스팅에서는 시놀로지에서 포토 경로를 마운트하는 방법을 소개합니다. mount -o bind 명령어를 사용해 다른 경로를 포토 경로에 연결함으로써, 사진과 동영상을 더욱 효율적으로 관리할 수 있습니다.

참고로, 필자는 photo 경로에서는 심볼릭 링크가 제대로 동작하지 않는 것을 확인했지만, 이는 사용자의 환경에 따라 다를 수 있습니다.

경로 알아내기

먼저, 원본 폴더와 대상 폴더의 경로가 필요합니다.
필자의 경우, 경로는 다음과 같습니다.

  • 원본 경로
    • /volume1/Archive-Main/사진/Reference
  • 대상 경로
    • /volume1/photo

필자는 약 1년 동안 photo의 루트 경로에 마운트하여 사용하면서 특별한 문제가 없었지만,
변수 발생 가능성을 줄이기 위해 photo 경로에 하위 폴더를 생성하여 마운트하는 것을 추천합니다.

작업 스케줄러

경로를 파악했다면, 시놀로지 제어판의 작업 스케줄러에 진입합니다.

생성 > 트리거된 작업 > 사용자 정의 스크립트를 클릭합니다.

일반 탭에서 작업 이름을 지정하고, 사용자를 root로 변경합니다.

작업 설정 탭에서 다음 스크립트를 환경에 맞게 수정하여 입력합니다.

mount -o bind [원본 경로] [대상 경로]

필자의 경우 다음과 같습니다.

mount -o bind /volume1/Archive-Main/사진/Reference /volume1/photo

입력이 끝났다면 확인으로 저장합니다.

저장된 스케줄을 우클릭하여, 실행을 클릭합니다.

이제 대상 경로에 제대로 마운트 됐는지 확인합니다.

mount -o bind 명령어로 붙일 경우, DSM이 재부팅될 때마다 마운트가 해제되는 단점이 있습니다.
이를 해결하기 위해, 시놀로지 작업 스케줄러를 사용하여 부팅 시 자동으로 마운트가 실행되도록 설정했습니다.

주의사항

Synology Photo 앱이 자동으로 색인을 수행하려면, 반드시 원본 경로가 아닌 대상 경로인 photo에서 미디어를 수정하거나 업로드해야 합니다.
그렇지 않으면 자동 색인이 진행되지 않으며, 수동으로 색인을 해야 할 수 있습니다.

이 부분은 저도 아직 해결 중인 문제라, 해결 방법을 찾게 되면 추후에 공유하도록 하겠습니다.
